Funny Fishing Story

About 25years ago, Paul Snelson and Ian Luff and I, decided to go and fish Eastnor Castle Lake near the small town of Ledbury Herefordshire, I always wanted to fish a haunted lake.
We had heard of our friend Trevor Whitehead fishing this mad place with his dad Richard.
As the story goes they fished the night on the opposite side to the castle. At about 2o`clock in the morning, there was a sound of a dog growling outside the bivvy, so they went to investigate and to their horror there was a large dog glowing white and growling at them, with a moment of fear they growled back and this dog spirit just floated away from them weird eh?

Paul Snelson and myself believed in ghosts but Ian played the sceptic and went off on his own to fish where Trev and his dad had fished walking off, saying I don’t believe in ghosts.
Myself an Paul went back to the safe camp haha laughing about Ian, all of a sudden I had a brain wave, hey Paul get your tape recorder out he looked at me puzzled till I told him this!
Despicable as we were we gave it him big style take advice on this one you will love it.
The first thing is to let the recording go on silence for the first 10 mins this is essential, as you will find out.
The next step is to go and break sticks and make ghost noises HAHA! Get the jist.
Off we went to see sceptic Ian armed with tape recording he was quite happy (not for long) we had a chat an off I went conveniently for a wee and planted the tape recorder behind his bivvy and quickly said good night, then we doubled back quietly and waited, well a call for help was an understatement he came flying out of his Bivvy rods kicked everywhere and he was on his toes.
We just had to chase him all he could hear is something chasing him, after a few yards we caught up with him a rugby tackle and torch in his face did the trick I have never seen anyone so scared in my life RESULT!!
You think that’s the end oh no, after that hilarious time. I found myself fishing Ronny Feltons Little Aston, as I walked round I was greeted by a Black Country yam yam he was a cheerful chappy I had only had five minutes with the man (never met him before) and he could wait to tell me about ghost wind up the Eastnor Castle ya cant keep anything secret in the Carp world HAHA wicked!!
