 I have watched a few carp DVD's and Videos in my time of fishing.
The one that sticks in my mind and I still watch is the Korda under water carping, this is by far the most innovative piece of filming that is available to the carp world it comes in five parts.
 
 Korda DVD's have been a great help to my carp fishing and have put me a few extra fish on the bank.
Danny Fairbrass has produced the ultimate carp dvd and really explains how to use your rig and bait to their full potential, there is no carp fishing DVD like it, a definite must see for all you carpers from beginner to advanced.

 

Carp DVD

Fresh fishing the Carp.

 

 This DVD will tell you pretty much all you need to know about the Carps behavior, rigs bait etc. John McIntyre underwater cameraman shows us Carp in their underwater habitat and he also shows us how the colour of the Boilies at different depths of the water varies
 Dave Lane also tells how he has caught 5 Carp over fifty pounds in the UK.
 Dave also tells how us of his very flexible mobile approach with a few tree climbing skills thrown in.
 

 Recognised top angler & tackle shop owner Bryan Jarret shares his tips & skills and land a 20 plus Common Carp for the camera.
EA scientist Dr Phill Hickley tells us the truth on how Carp feed.
 

 Long time Carper Chris ponsford shows a young Carper how to catch Carp from a small water in Worcestershire with great success.
Dr Julian partridge explains how the Carps view on colour changes at different depths.

Cemex angling ultimate quarry presented by Jon Banister

 

Cemex is a company that extracts aggregates like sand gravel to the building trade, once extracted they end up with a quarry which is then filled up with water trees planted etc giving you a fishery or nature reserve.

 

Horton Church Lake

 

A detailed look at one of the most famous Carp lakes in the history of Carp fishing with plenty of underwater footage.

Del Smith, Area Head Bailiff starts the chapter off with Del fishing floaters at the dusk of a hot summer’s day and manages to winkle out a forty off the top, good eh

 

Fox pool

 

A good look at Fox pool, with John Banister and Jerry Hammond. When John arrives Jerry has already got an old warrior in the net with a weight of 37lbs .Jon takes a good look at Jerry’s lead ejection rig, Jerry also mentions how he focuses on his fishing with great results.

 

Yateley Match Lake

 

With John Banister and top Carper, Martin Locke. Martin spots an opportunist fish and with quick thinking devises a rig for the situation and catches a Carp.

He shows off his impressive end tackle arrangement which allows you to fish your PVA bags with out losing presentation. Martin also shows you how he uses rig tubing to its full advantage and how to fish the hair rig to its full effect.

 

Yatley Car Park Lake

 

This lake is one of the hardest venues in the country. John Banister joins Ben Hamilton to give you a good look at the history of this Carp Mecca and a talk about its famous residents like Heather the Leather. Ben also gives a detailed description of the main swims on this hard water.

 

Wraysbury No1

 

Jon joins Simon Scott to have a look at this 120 acres of hard fishing water as it only has 50 residents are some of the most sought after Carp in the country. Next there is more underwater footage from Horton Church Lake. There is also plenty of wildlife on film through out the filming.

 

King smead No1

 

Jon joins ash Bradbury from tails up to have a look at this 30 acre water and tells you of his tact iced approach. There is also some underwater footage of this lake.

 

Yateley nursery lake

 

Terry goes back to his roots to fish this easier water. At the start Terry bags on lovely Common Carp of 22lb 15oz with a few smaller fish, and even has two on at once.

 

Frimley pit 3

 

Ian Russel from Heathrow baits tells how he has caught mostly Common Carp and how his baiting approach catches mostly Commons. Ian also tells you about swims and depths and about its residents that run too over 40lb and also explains how he fishes the Zig Rig with great success.

 

Wraysbury No1 tour

 

We join Simon Scott for a detailed tour of Wraysbury No1; Simon tours the lake by boat and tells us about the history of the lake and its residents. Simon meets up with Carp angler and Wraysbury Bailiff, Phil Bunyan who gives you top tips and safety about using boats on this large water. Total of 3 hours of pure Carp fishing on these awesome venues well worth the money as you will become a better angler after watching this film.
