The CARP FISHING GUIDE Saves you Time and Money.
Carp fishing bait.
When I started Carp fishing 28yrs ago, Carp Bait was mainly made up of ingredients from local supermarkets, like peanut butter, flour, Soya flour, sausage meat, hotdog sausages, glaze cherries, cheese, luncheon meat, kidney beans, potatoes, corn meal, sweet corn, haricot beans, prawns and cockles etc.
Carp fishing bait nowadays is very boilie orientated and most carp get clued up to it, the boilie was mainly used to stop nuisance fish from breaking down the paste which the boilie is formed out of, all we did was mix the paste with eggs instead of water boiled it so it would form a protective skin against nuisance fish.
I have been on waters where the boilie has been over used, and I have changed back to basics like the ones mentioned in the first paragraph especially cheese the smellier the better.
You can pretty much say carp will eat anything on the right day but if you have got an angler on a real high quality bait and another on a poor quality bait the fish will go for the high quality bait, if the carp has been pre-occupied on this high quality bait it will be feeling healthier stronger and fitter, the carp will always be looking for the high quality bait, it is like us most people would prefer an 8oz fillet steak to an 8oz beef burger.
I will be putting a lot more about carp fishing bait on this site in the near future see you soon be lucky.
