                                             Carp Fishing Lines

The line I have been using for the last 3 years has been Krystons Krystonite 15lb B.5.It has a very low diameter of 0.36mm. The make up of the line is a high performance hybrid co-polymer mono with a fluoro-carbon coating with very supple properties for smoother casting.

I change my line at the start of my syndicate season every year and never have any problems with this line so I will carry on using it for a while.

The line I want to try next is the well known X line; This line is more or less invisible compared to other carp fishing lines so it’s ideal for fishing in clearer water or in daylight conditions.

X line is a very heavy fluoro-carbon which, means it will hug the bottom contours better than other lines, it also has a lot less stretch than other lines (more advantage with slack line fishing) giving more sensitive bite indication similar to using braid and it is also very abrasion resistance, I think I will be using this one this winter.

I will let you know how I get on. To keep an eye on this site for updates just add us to your favourites.
