Carp Fishing Tip

Try this Carp Fishing Tip.
When fishing a baited area for carp always fish one rod at the front of the baited area always cast your spod behind your hook bait. This eliminates the worry of carp spooking on your line leaving the carp to feed confidently.
The other rod is usually cast to the same area only 4 or 5 feet away from the first rod.
This gives the first rod backup lets just say the first rod gets a take and the fish gets away with it you cannot just cast back out to the baited area without spooking the rest of the fish, that is when the second rod comes into play and you have a chance of another bite.

My Third rod can be put on another baited area fished the same as the first rod, if this area picks up more bites than the other area I then move the second rod into that area.
I will always bait up a marginal area preferably Shallowing water and keep an eye out for any carp moving in, i.e. Bubbles, cloudy water or carp showing themselves.

This way I will fish about 5ft of lead core behind a running lead, when the fish are feeding in the area you can slowly lower your hook bait down the lead core will sink to the bottom quicker than mono and will not waft up like mono does on a slack line giving line bites and spooking the fish, I try to do this with all my fishing.
