Carp Fishing Tip

Some of you carpers out there use Stainless Steel Rod Rests, Bars and Pods, these look very good on the bank but on sunny days these stainless rod stands could easily spook a carp that passes the swim regularly seeing nothing to suddenly seeing a rod pod glistening in the sunlight.

I have always used stainless steel, you can’t beat it, and it lasts forever and is pretty much indestructible.
So on sunny days when fishing for carp close in I try to hide the front of my Rod Pod with leaves twigs etc any camouflage you can find.
